Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes, this tour is suitable for children, particularly those aged six and above. Older children tend to enjoy the wildlife experience more and handle long drives better. We recommend booking private safaris for families to allow flexible pacing and meal times. Some lodges also offer family rooms or child-friendly amenities. While game drives are thrilling, always supervise children closely and follow safety guidelines when near wildlife or in camp areas.

All safaris are conducted in a customized 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser equipped with a pop-up roof for optimal wildlife viewing and photography. These vehicles are designed for comfort and durability on rough terrain, featuring individual window seats, charging ports, and a cooler for drinks. They are maintained regularly for safety and performance. Your private driver-guide will ensure a smooth and immersive safari experience throughout the trip, adapting to your preferences.

Yes, all relevant park fees and conservation charges are included in the package price unless stated otherwise. These include entrance fees for Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and crater descent fees. Paying these fees ensures protected wildlife areas are maintained and contributes to local conservation efforts. There are no surprise charges on arrival, giving you peace of mind to simply enjoy the safari without worrying about unexpected extra costs.

Absolutely. We work closely with the lodges and tented camps to ensure all dietary needs are met, whether vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, or allergy-sensitive. It’s important to communicate your preferences during booking so the accommodations can prepare accordingly. Most lodges are experienced in catering to international guests and offer buffet or set-menu meals with a variety of options. Fresh ingredients and locally inspired dishes are commonly served on safari.

While travel insurance is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. A comprehensive policy should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and evacuation services, especially since you’ll be visiting remote wildlife areas. Healthcare facilities in the bush are limited, so having coverage gives peace of mind in case of illness or injury. We advise purchasing insurance from a trusted provider before your departure and carrying a copy of your policy while traveling.

Yes, Zanzibar extensions are a popular way to end a Northern Tanzania safari. After your safari concludes, you can take a short flight from Arusha or Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar Island. The archipelago offers pristine beaches, historic Stone Town, spice tours, snorkeling, and diving. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or cultural exploration, we can arrange beach resorts or boutique lodges to suit your style. Just let us know your preferences, and we’ll tailor accordingly.

There’s a strong chance of spotting the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—especially in Ngorongoro Crater, where all five are present in a compact area. Serengeti is excellent for lions and leopards, and during the migration, predators are particularly active. While sightings aren’t guaranteed due to nature’s unpredictability, our expert guides maximize your chances by tracking animal movements and using their knowledge of seasonal patterns and wildlife behavior.
